This course, delivered by experienced practitioner and lecturer Olwen Davies, will consider Section 76 of PACE; deals with challenges to the admissibility of confessions in criminal proceedings, in detail and will provide viewers with practical guidance on how to structure your own argument should you be required to make or resist an application to exclude a confession during court proceedings.
Equally suitable for those who prosecute and/or defend in the Crown Court, this course also includes a practical example which viewers can use at the end of the training to see how they fare in practice.
This training will be of assistance to anybody starting out in the Crown Court but, equally, those who have been practising for a while will find it a useful refresher.
