Mike Winston is a solicitor-advocate (all courts), a freelance legal trainer and a learning and development consultant.
He has over 30 years’ experience as a litigator and advocate and has handled a wide variety of matters from simple debt actions up to highly complex High Court matters worth millions of pounds. He is an experienced legal trainer, holding a CIPD qualification in learning and development.
Since 2002, Mike has designed and delivered training courses on a variety of litigation and advocacy subjects for all levels of lawyer, winning a National Training Award in 2011. He is a trainer and assessor for the SRA’s Higher Rights of Audience, the Bar Transfer Test and CILEx Civil Advocacy and litigation rights qualification.
Mike is also the editor of the CILEx course manual on Civil Litigation.
