John Trimbos
John is a solicitor admitted in England and Wales, and is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. He studied law at St. John's College, Oxford, and qualified as a solicitor in 1988. He started his professional life with the Treasury Solicitor's Department, before moving to the private sector in the early 1990s. In the mid 1990s he moved to lecturing at the Oxford Institute of Legal Practice before moving back to the City. He has worked as a transactional lawyer and as an in-house training manager.
John specialises in addressing difficult areas like business writing skills, where people sometimes know that they have a development need but are self-conscious about saying so. In addition to delivering online webinars, John also runs highly practical workshops with lots of exercises and interactivity, and his clients appreciate the way that he deals with serious issues with wit and good humour.
