Course Overview

The Council for Licensed Conveyancers (CLC) are a small, but hands on, regulator. Inspecting all firms at least once every three years, and reviewing reconciliations, insurance, and business continuity even more frequently, they could be a fairly regular presence at any regulated firm.

This practical webinar explains who the CLC are, what to expect from their regulatory style, and how to survive an inspection. Essential for anyone already regulated by the CLC or considering switching from SRA regulation, viewers will be armed with the knowledge and information to succeed in this high contact regulatory environment.

During this webinar experienced lecturer and former CLC inspector Katie Jackson will consider the following topics in detail:

About Instructor - Katie Jackson

Katie Jackson is a consultant specialising in law firm compliance and regulation. A former Inspector for the Council for Licensed Conveyancers, Katie led and managed inspections of some of the largest conveyancing practices in the country. Prior to working for the CLC, Katie spent a number of years working in various inspection and policy roles for the Solicitors Regulation Authority, and Legal Services Commission.
