Course Overview

Interest rate hedging and swaps is a complex area of commercial practice which, for many practitioners, has been exacerbated following the conclusion of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) review, and the subsequent uncertainty regarding what’s next.

Delivered by Rachel Coyle, barrister at The 36 Group, this course will provide viewers with a whistle stop tour of what is going on with interest rate hedging products and has been designed to answer the following questions asked by practitioners and clients alike:

What is an interest rate swap?

       What was the FCA Review?

I missed the review or, I am not happy with the offer by the bank, what are my options?

Generally, what are the causes of action in financial mis-selling claims?

       How do I quantify damages?
