Stephen was the youngest lawyer to obtain the Licensed Insolvency Practitioner qualification and now combines a Consultancy practice at Lester Aldridge Solicitors with an extensive lecturing and presenting portfolio. Throughout his professional career, Stephen has undertaken the full range of debt recovery and insolvency procedures and for many years has been recognised as a ‘leader in his field’ by the Legal Directories. His client base includes many national and international companies as well as major institutions and he has had much experience working for H M Revenue and Customs and The Insolvency Service on their recovery work.
Stephen is a Fellow of the Association of Business Recovery Professionals, an Associate Member of the Association of Property and Fixed Charge Receivers and is the Chairman of the Joint Insolvency Examination Board which oversees the examination and appointment of new Insolvency Practitioners as well as being the Deputy Independent Examiner of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
